There's something, that I feel the need to address, regarding my background and possible future direction.
For most of my life I've been practicing traditional line-art, and only fairly recently, with my Newgrounds account, I've started doing things in color.
Even though I did a number of colored paintings before, this is a fairly new direction to me, hence there is not much consistency to the way I render colors yet.
I have more confidence with my line-art (even with the more improvised stuff), but I was pretty close minded when it came to the tools. Part of this had to due with the fact that there isn't much demand for professional illustration tools (Nib pens, markers, airbrushes etc) where I live, so I went the easy route instead of importing. The other reason is more of a personal vice. At times I tend to become so accustomed to my old habits, that they start to blind me on other possibly better choices and methods.
I've managed to develop relative accuracy using generic Pilot Ballpoint pens, but consequentially with time came the realization of the technical limitations of this instrument. Ballpoint Pens can make a good use for the small details, however they lack the versatility of the more traditional Fountain and Dip pens. Functionally fixing and correcting the line weight made by Ballpoint Pens is much more time consuming endeavour that's ultimately hinged on over-complicating something that really's not supposed to be all that difficult.
Inking is the most natural means of expression for me, so I see no downsides to learning more efficient methods of doing what I like to do the most.
In the meanwhile, I'll probably be posting older art, and perhaps a number of comic pages I've made over the last couple of years. There is a good chunk of it, but I never posted it anywhere before because of my generally mixed feelings about it. I hope that you'll understand.
without further ado lets get to the pictures:
Here's something I've did around late 2023:
I was probably my first somewhat accurate attempt at line-art, though, the full page was never finished. It's related to a story for which I (at that point of time) made around 40 pages. Most of them had terrible line art, and I didn't keep the gray scale for most of them. They also had mediocre paneling. But I kind of like this one, even though it's unfinished.
This was a page from a short story revolving around clones:
It's another one that was made sometime in late December of 2023. It was supposed to be a part of a short story, that was somewhat improvised on the whim. I stopped working on it fairly early on. The grayscale was pretty messy, but the other components turned out to be okay. There are three other pages made, but they're mostly unfinished.
At this point I was using pencils for the shades which honestly was a pretty terrible idea.
This is something I improvised yesterday in about two hours:
Most pages take me around 8 hours to finish, but when it comes to improvisation, stuff gets done fairly fast.
This is it for a now. More interesting stuff will come (probably IDK).

This is honestly phenomenal. Keep it up!
